Tim Webber is Chairman and Managing Director of Pendle based Contractors, Developers and Investors, Barnfield Construction Limited.
Barnfield Construction was established in 1976 and current Group turnover is around £56 million per year. Speculative developments with public and private sector partners together with repeat businesses from valued clients accounting for 75% of the turnover.
The first speculative housing scheme Barnfield carried out was in 1976, moving into the industrial and commercial speculative developments in 1987. Barnfield built in the newly formed enterprise zones throughout England and into Scotland.
Tim is a strong, hand’s on leader with an open door policy and approachable manner with all staff and business associates. Tim is passionately committed to developing the local area through local partnerships and was voted Lancastrian of the year 2010. Further evidence of this was received this year when Tim received an MBE in the 2015 New Year’s Honours list for Service to Business and the Community in Lancashire.
Outside of Barnfield Tim was nominated to act as Chairman for Regenerate Pennine Lancashire which is a local government partnership providing business support, access to local grants, start-up, property, technology & innovation support.
Tim is also the Vice Chairman of the Pendle Vision Board, and sits on the Board of Director ‘s for Groundwork, Training 2000 and Canal & Rivers Trust; Prior to this he was previously involved with Business in the Community and sat on the Board of Directors for the Groundwork Trust and also the Lancashire Economic Partnership for four years.

A proven capability of undertaking, project managing and successfully completing complex construction projects with values ranging from £500k through to £20m.
Excellent experience in the development and management of complex new build and refurbishment developments on contracts locally and Nationwide.
Wide experience of refurbishment projects means we enjoy close relationships with the local heritage personnel and understand how to achieve the best balance between heritage needs and the creation a viable modern building.
Barnfield has formed a number of Joint Ventures with private and public sectors companies over the last four decades. Some of which include Lancaster Council, Blackpool Council, Hyndburn Council with the most recent JV being with Pendle Borough Council, Rossendale Borough Council and Burnley Borough Council who have formed 10 year partnerships with Barnfield to deliver schemes which will carry out regeneration throughout the separate Boroughs.
