Barbara Ingley moved into her new flat when Whitewell Court opened last year and it’s a move she’s glad she made.
The £1.1million development has 12 self-contained apartments and ample on-site parking a stone’s throw from Waterfoot town centre.
She said: “My flat is compact, but it’s very spacious, with lots of storage, and bright so it suits me perfectly.
“All the rooms are big and there are lots of power points, which is extremely handy. And my energy bills are very affordable thanks to the way they’re built.
“It might be a strange thing to say, but I love my hallway as it’s nice and wide. One-bedroom apartments can be poky but this is far from it.
“The shower is nice and roomy as well so I have absolutely no grumbles.
“We have a nice mix of people in the complex and they’re a good group. And with it being right next to the town centre, it’s ideal for people who maybe find getting around quite tricky.
“It’s a great place to live and very happy to have been lucky enough to get a place here.”View project
